Some suggestions here for novel articles to make and sell at a bazaar. The items should be cheap and useful if they are to sell well.

At the top are a Dutch boy and girl that are also lavender bags, used to scent rooms and cupboards. They are made from painted wood, their baggy trousers and skirt being filled with dried lavender.

The shoe cleaning kit is cut out of a dark piece of felt, shaped like a shoe. Real shoe laces are added. A duster, brush and polish fill the shoe.

Old jars are painted with bright colours to make useful containers. The pretty purse is made from plaited ribbons with a stamen clasp.
