Town and Country

As you can see from the notice, the exhibition was held in the Walford Mill Craft Centre in Wimborne, Dorset from June to July 2002.

This attractive 18th century brick building was once a water mill, and has now has been converted into a shop, teaching and exhibition space for crafts. The exhibition consisted of a selection of works created by students from the City and Guilds Patchwork and Quilting Courses run here over the last 10 years.

Adults can take City and Guild courses in many crafts and skills, for employment or leisure purposes. These quilting classes are part time and are actually held in this building. Once you have completed the preliminary course, there is a more advanced course you can also complete. Now let's look at the quilts.
