combination of broderie anglaise embroidery and insertions of bobbin
lace are here worked diagonally across the material to create an
interesting and unusual design. The edges of the case are worked in an
scalloped pattern. Ribbon is also threaded around the design.
It is also suggested that this panel could be used as a pram cover, in which case the ribbon would be of an appropriate colour. We use blue ribbon for a boy and pink ribbon for a girl.
