Waiting
for something to happen can be boring.
You can wait for a bus or a train. If you are a waiter or waitress you wait on tables. If you are keen for something to happen you may say ' I can't wait for my Birthday to arrive'. |

バスや電車を待つことがありますね。 ウェイターやウェイトレスはテーブルの客に給仕します。 何かを待ち遠しいときには、 ' I can't wait for my Birthday to arrive' （誕生日が待ちきれない）といえます。 -boring 退屈な -wait tableで食事の給仕をするという意味なります。waiterという単語はこの意味からきています。 |
