Often cafes and pubs
have special offers of cheap meals at lunch time. In this case the pub
is open all day and serves cheap meals from 11am to 6pm. The special offer
only applies to certain meals, not to every item on the menu. The small
writing states that you should 'ask inside or see leaflets for
details'.
Of course they don't expect you to eat two meals personally, but to share with a friend. Sometimes these offers are advertised as 'two for the price of one'. |
