Most pubs who serve
hot meals provide a special roast meal on Sundays. Traditionally people
would eat this at home on a Sunday but nowadays many people can't be
bothered to cook a big meal and prefer to go out and eat.
Sometimes they offer a choice of meats. Normally it would be beef, lamb, turkey or chicken. It is always served with roast potatoes, vegetables and gravy and sometimes other extras such as Yorkshire pudding. |
