Often restaurants have a cheaper menu for children. Here you pay £3.25 in total for a main course (cod and chips for instance), a soft drink and an ice cream. Mushy peas are a type of pea that dissolves into a green paste when cooked. This sounds horrible but they actually taste very good with fish. Trifle is a very traditional British dessert.
