The prices for fish quoted here are restaurant prices and include a portion of chips. As a take-away cod and chips would normally cost about £2.50 to £4 depending on where you buy them. Rock salmon is actually a type of eel. I would recommend trying cod or haddock for a first time. I ate the haddock pictured on the previous page and it was extremely tasty, if rather a large portion. I could not have managed a starter as well! (although I must confess I did have a dessert). |
